Kabir Kunj was built by Shabbir and Rashida Diler, a couple from Pune who had a dream to live in nature's calm and serenity after their retirement. Their aim was to create a self sufficient dwelling, with a sustainable farm, a vegetable garden, a cow shed , a biogas plant, vermicomposting and rainwater harvesting. After having spent eight years at the farmhouse, Shabbir and Rashida want to share their experience with fellow nature lovers in this pristine getaway.

Zehra has a Diploma in Hospitality and post graduations in Tourism Management. She has worked in the hospitality industry and was a faculty member in All India Shri Shivaji Memorial Society's College of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (AISSMS) for close to ten years. For Zehra, who is an avid traveler and nature enthusiast, Kabir Kunj is the perfect opportunity to combine her strong background in hospitality and tourism with her love for nature. At Kabir Kunj, Zehra looks after the upkeep of the facility and organizes the stay, including the food and activities for the guests.
